Where they live

 

Harp seals live in The North Atlantic waters, North of Russia, New Finland, and all they way to St.Lawarence, Canada. They migrate in a order every year they go from:

The White Sea

West Ice

North West Atlantic

All the way to the gulf of Canada

Habitat

 

The harp seal’s habitat is very cold. They are born with fur that can’t with stand the cold in the water. As they gat older they have oils on there fur so they could swim in the icy waters. So, the harp seals have to be about one year old before they swim

 

. What they eat

 

While the Harp Seals migrate they eat various numbers of foods.

 

Young- The young eat small crustaceans such as crabs, oysters, and clams extra.

 

Adults- The adult harp seals eat nearly any type of fish in the area.
