The yellow Banded Poison Dart Frog lives in South America Venezuela, Tropical rain forests. They eat ants, termites, tiny beetles, spiders, crickets and other small insects.

The falemales are bigger then the males. They have pads on there toes and fingers to help them climb on trees. There life span is 5 to 12 years. You can find this animal on evergreens and in the tropical rain forest of Venezuela. The weather is warm and it rains a lot.

The baby frogs are called tadpole or a polliwog. No, the animals are not endangered. The behavior diurnal live colonially on the forest floor. The color is Juvenile black with yellow bands around the middle. Its scientific name is Denbrodates Leucomelas. The Length is 11/2 and the females are larger and thicker. The body skin and gland are excreta and the eggs. The female frog live the egg with the male frog and the female frog goes out to go get food and other things so the male frog carries the eggs body.
