What To Avoid In Cleaning Rugs

Fluffy rugs indeed bring comfort to all rooms. You only need to take care of it by knowing how to clean and wash this carpet properly. Cleaning carpet with different types of fur requires different strategies and cleaning products as well. If you are unsure what to do you could use the fire and water restoration service so your home floor will continue to look clean and comfortable, whatever type of carpet you have. For all the cleaning methods remember to always read the label of the cleaning product you are using and test it first in an area that is not visible.

Fluffy rugs have soft, very fluffy stacks that are very nice to lie on but are a little difficult to wash. If you are thinking about how to clean a fluffy carpet at a cheap price without having to take it to the laundry, take it easy, this type of carpet is still possible to be washed at home anyway (as long as you are careful). Don’t forget to check your carpet care label first before starting the cleaning. Bring your carpet out to be cleaned of dirt. Clean using a vacuum cleaner very slowly and carefully so as not to damage the fur on your carpet. You can clean your rugs using a dry shampoo that is generally in the form of powder. Sprinkle this shampoo and follow the next instructions as stated on the product that you are using. Wait for about an hour then clean the granules again using a vacuum cleaner.

Furry rugs should be washed using a steam cleaner that you can rent from an electronic rental place. However, if you decide you want to clean it by hand, you can start by filling the bathtub with 4 parts cold water and 1 part special carpet detergent. Do not use fabric softener. The detergent used must be non-bio, fragrance-free, and bleach-free to prevent damage to your fur carpet. Soak and rub the carpet gently in this solution for 20-30 minutes. Then squeeze all the foam and rinse with cold water. Dry the carpet in the breeze and the shade, do not dry in direct sunlight because it will cause the color of your fur carpet to fade.
