What is Geofencing?
Geofencing is the use of a Global Positioning System (GPS) satellite network and/or local radio frequency identifiers (such as Wi-Fi nodes or Bluetooth beacons) to create virtual boundaries around a location. Geofence is then paired with a hardware/software application that responds to boundaries in certain ways as defined by program parameters.
Not only for business owners, you as a private vehicle owner also need to complete vehicle safety with a motorcycle/car GPS tracker. This device will be very helpful when things happen unexpectedly. Not only preventing theft but also monitoring vehicle use, especially when it is being used by other family members.
In the event of unwanted things, the vehicle engine can also be turned off remotely via an application connected to a smartphone. Travel data, such as the distance traveled, the length of the trip, the location of stops, and other reports can be saved and printed at any time.
The use of a personal GPS tracker is not only beneficial for vehicles. Tracking devices can also be used to monitor other things, such as:
1 Control of Valuables
Cameras, bags, bicycles, and helmets are valuable items that sometimes go unnoticed by their owners. These items are also very prone to be stolen by people who are not responsible. It would be very difficult to track it yourself without the help of a GPS tracker.
2 Oversight of Family Members
Having active young children and parents who are old and senile do require very strict supervision. If they were a little careless, they could have gone alone without knowing the way to return home. Not to mention the various kinds of criminal cases that stalk underage children.
If you only rely on caregivers, of course, it will be less than optimal. Therefore, we recommend that you equip your children and parents with a portable GPS tracker that can easily be pinned on your shirt or pocketed in your shirt or pants pocket.
3 Controls for Pets
For animal lovers, the use of a GPS tracker is also highly recommended. This is useful for monitoring the location and movement of the pet. When something strange and out of the ordinary happens, you as the owner can easily take action.
The model and shape of the GPS tracker that is used personally are different from the Car and Motorcycle GPS. The GPS used is usually pocket-sized which can easily be pinned in hidden places. For pet use, for example, GPS can be attached to the collar. For the price itself, portable GPS is certainly cheaper than the price of car GPS.
